When should an export declaration be prepared?

If the goods are in a customs warehouse, then the export declaration must be issued after the invoice is issued.

Issue a customs declaration immediately after loading into the transport in which the goods will be exported. The declaration will not be issued until the vehicle has reached the customs terminal indicated on the export declaration.

Free Lines Global recommends that you issue an export declaration at the moment when the cargo is already at the customs terminal (warehouse) and there is a measured weight and dimensions of the cargo in the customs warehouse.

If the cargo is in the warehouse of the sender (in Turkey), then there are 2 options:

To issue a customs declaration at the moment when the car with the cargo arrived at the customs terminal.

What information is required from the sender and from the forwarder in order to correctly complete the export declaration?

Sender

Invoice
Packing
Certificate of origin
*MSDS (for dangerous)
Certificate for packaging (for special cargoes)
Product labeling (for electronics) *

Forwarder

The number of the vehicle in which the cargo will cross the border
Number of the trailer / container in which the cargo will cross the border
When airfreight REF number
Name of the customs warehouse, its address and number of the customs warehouse
